Collins College Contest Extension

Just a short post to update everyone that the Collins College Photoshop contest has been extended to May 1st, 2010 instead of April 21st, 2010. I would like to get a lot of entries within these 2 weeks, and so I’m also limiting a few restrictions.

The Photoshop contest is now moved to May 1st, 2010. I understand there may have been finals and projects that had to be done, so I’m extending the due date to accommodate that. I’ve also emailed people today (April, 19th, 2010) to confirm that I’ve gotten their entries. If you entered a piece, and you haven’t gotten an email, then I haven’t received your email. Please reforward or resend the email to the following email: creative-le@live.com

Since I do want more participation, I will be deducing the number of required of submissions from three (3) to one (1). For those that entered 3 submissions, I appreciate your works and following the rules. The main function of contestants entering 3 pieces was for me to filter out the best work so I can display online and at the portfolio show on May 7th.

As for the tutorial contest, that contest is still going on and will be going on until I’ve reached a fair amount of submissions. One slight change that I wasn’t sure if I was clear on but, since there’s no specific 1st, 2nd, 3rd place prizes, contestants are allowed to submit multiple tutorials if they wanted to. Remember this contest applies to all staff, faculty, students, and alumni of Collins College. There is no due date, just send your tutorial in.
