As my first experiment with typography, I wanted to create a 3D Text illustration and mess with the perspective of the piece. I’ve noticed many people using 3D programs for them such as 3D Studio Max and Cinema 4D, but with the lack of those programs, I had to settle to using Photoshop and Illustrator to do it. Who wants to do tedious things when there are already made or automated for you? There are many useful resources, templates, and websites that can save a developer a lot of time when developing a website. I use these tools constantly during development to fill up some temporary content to test out spacing, or fill up a wordpress theme so that everything won’t be missed when coding the blockquotes, the heading tags, and so forth.

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted, and I have good reasons. As my last post said, I recently went to Las Vegas with Intothedarkroom to attend the WPPI convention, but I also went there as a company trip to see and explore Las Vegas as well as hanging out with the company.

One of the highlights of the trip was attending a Cirque du Soleil show at the MGM Hotel with my employer’s family, and it turned out to be an inspirational show and time I couldn’t forget.

Hey everyone, just a little post to give a heads up on what’s happening with me. I’m still working at Intothedarkroom and working on my blog and a few side projects, and other than that, I’ve been just teaching myself more about Wordpress and the admin options behind it. However, I am going to go Las Vegas, Nevada like the post title said with my company to attend a part of the WPPI 2010 Convention. With that in mind, I have a lot of things I’ll be doing.
